Capalaba Regional Park

Description

Large parkland located near the Capalaba business district. Suitable for gatherings, weddings ceremonies, community events and fitness groups. Solar lighting in Capalaba Regional Park improves safety along pathways and encourages visitors to stay a little longer in this popular park. The lights operate full time between 4am–10pm and via sensor from 10pm–4am.

Please read the below options carefully before requesting a booking

Events - $233.00 per day
Including but not limited to, fairs / concerts / promotions / shows / sporting events / markets / fundraisers / Community Events)

Ceremonies & Services - $47.00 per hour
Including but not limited to, wedding ceremony / naming ceremony / memorial service

Private Gatherings - $47.00 per hour
For gatherings exceeding 50 attendees

General Bookings
For general gatherings with 50 attendees or less there is no fee.

Vendors (Bouncing Castles, Entertainment, Caterers etc) arranged through the Hirer are required to hold Public Liability Insurance for at least $20,000,000.
A copy of the Certificate of Currency must be provided with the booking application before a Booking Permit will be issued.

Council can ensure your event does not conflict with other booked events in this space, however, it is important to note that exclusive use of an open space cannot be guaranteed, in particular, the reservation of undercover areas and BBQ facilities.
