Description

The Capalaba Place Hall is situated inside the building that also includes the Capalaba Library and the Capalaba Customer Service Centre. It is suitable for small to medium exercise classes, community activities and function/events during Customer Service opening hours.


CLOSURE NOTICE

Due to scheduled upgrading of the precinct, Capalaba Place Hall will not be open for hire in 2024.

Pricing
Off Peak - 6am to 4pm
$36.00 per hour
Peak - 4pm - 5pm
$79.50 per hour

Cleaning Fee
If your booking includes consumption of food and/or drink, a cleaning fee will apply. Please note, this fee is non negotiable and is not eligible for discount.
Monday - Friday $236.50

In addition to our standard terms and conditions, special conditions apply to birthday party bookings for ages 16 to 25 year old:

  • A bond payment of $1,500 is required
  • Registration with Party Safe Queensland is required and copy of same provided to Council

    Commercial Vendors
    If you have arranged or plan to arrange a commercial vendor to provide a service at the hall, we will require a copy of their Public Liability Insurance Certificate of Currency valid for the booking date and for a sum insured of $20 million (examples include caterer or entertainer etc.)

    Please be sure to check the availability below for your desired date(s) and time(s). A minimum 2 business days notice must be provided in order for your application to be assessed.
